Yema - 1970s Manual Wind (Ultra-Rare)
Year – 1970s
Condition – Excellent for age.
Box/Papers – Watch.
Movement – Manual wind – movement just serviced.
Functions – Time and date.
Description – See below
So, unless you are me or a handful of other people, I am guessing you’ve never seen this watch before. I bought this watch a few years ago from Europe and it’s safe to say that I have never seen another, either.
This is a very blue, very unique watch from Yema. It’s a manual wind movement with a stainless steel back and a chrome metal case. The dial itself is actually just brushed silver/white. So how do they get it blue?? Well, the plexiglass crystal itself has a blue filter on the bottom of it to change the entire dial color. Super cool trick.
Sits on a very new Delugs strap (worn just a few times) to match the dial as best as possible.
If you want something that may be unique or a prototype, this is for you. I’ve never seen another and even Yema doesn’t have much information on this piece.
Own a really cool piece of history, here. You likely will never get another chance.
